PRESERVATION OF ELECTRONIC RECORD

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this article is to highlight long-term preservation of digital information. Preservation was defined as “the set of processes, strategies and tools used to store and access digital data for long periods of time during which technologies, formats, hardware, software and technical communities are very likely to change. Preservation are important for the future information. There are issues in the preservation that are technological factors, cultural factors, methodological factors, legal factors, social factors and economic factors. There is a way to keep the digital record in the long-term.
